I’m Simon Oxley.
I’ve worked in the I.T. industry for over 15 years across many different sectors and environments, including 7 years in financial services.
In late 2007 I left the corporate world and co-founded Viisys with Nick Barker. Viisys is a small tech startup based in Nottingham, UK and the creators of:
- Aware Monitoring – An on-demand web infrastructure monitoring service which helps increase performance and reduce down time.
- E20portal.com – A central repository for Enterprise 2.0 news, articles, events, case studies and many other Enterprise 2.0 resources.
I specialise in Enterprise I.T. Infrastructure, my previous roles include technical architecture, design and consulting. I have extensive technical experience in server platforms, infrastructure, messaging, storage, networking, monitoring, disaster recovery, and security within large complex environments. As a result of our startup acrtivities I now have my head burried in web platforms.
